Welcome from the nursing staff at NGCSU
The Healthy Lumpkin Community Partnership is supported by the Nursing School of North Georgia College & State University. The faculty of North Georgia's nursing program helps provide the care in the Medical Clinic. The clinic provides basic health care for the uninsured and low income in the surrounding seven counties. The staff treats general health ailments and helps patients manage their chronic diseases. They also perform routine exams in preventive care. The physical therapy group treats clients who are recovering from injuries or neurological insult. The clinic provides additional clinical experience for physical therapy and nursing students. For those clients who can not get to the clinic there is the Mobile Healthcare Unit taking services to them.
