Clinics
There are multiple Clinics located on the campus of North Georgia College & State University. Here is an overview and directions to the clinics, which are housed in the Health and Natural Sciences Building:
Appalachian Nurse Practitioner Clinic

The Appalachian Nurse Practitioner Clinic provides basic health care for people who are uninsured or have low income in the surrounding seven counties of the North Georgia Appalachian Area. The staff treats general health ailments and helps patients manage their chronic diseases. They also perform routine exams in preventive care. The clinic provides additional clinical experience for nursing students. For those clients who can not get to the clinic there is the Mobile Healthcare Unit taking services to them. The clinic provides the following medical services on a daily basis:
- Childhood immunizations
- Child examination and treatment for various illnesses
- Adult examination and treatment of various chronic medical conditions and acute illnesses

Physical Therapy Faculty Practice Clinic

The Physical Therapy Faculty Practice Clinic provides physical therapy for patients in the surrounding seven counties of the North Georgia Appalachian Area. The staff treats acute injuries and helps patients manage their chronic diseases such as arthritis. The clinic provides additional clinical experience for physical therapy students. The students are overseen by faculty and staff.

Directions
To find the Appalachian Nurse Practitioner Clinic and the Physical Therapy Faculty Practitioner Clinic:

- From the Square in Dahlonega, go south on South Main Street
- Go past Price Memorial on the left (i.e. the NGCSU building with the gold steeple)
- Turn RIGHT onto Sunset Drive
- Look for the Health and Natural Sciences Building at the top of the hill on the left
Parking is behind the building; look for the spaces marked Reserved for Clinic Patients.
